School of Medicine Researcher Training

The school runs a series of monthly seminars, designed for researchers, at all career stages for training in building researcher profiles for maximum impact and visibility. Another objective of the training  is to prepare  researchers for forthcoming funding calls. For updates on future training topic dates, please email research.medicine@tcd.ie

School of Medicine Mentoring Scheme

The School of Medicine runs a Teaching, Research and Academic Mentoring Scheme (TRAMS), scheme which opens for applications in August of each year.

The TRAMS cross-institutional Mentoring programme aims to pair experienced individuals involved in Teaching and / or Research (mentors) with colleagues at an earlier career stage (mentees), to provide career guidance and structured support.

This successful scheme which TCD joined in 2020/2021, is a 7-way collaboration with partner Universities in Scotland including the University of St Andrews & the University of Dundee.
