This research strand explores issues of injustice and inequality of opportunity related to people’s occupational lives. It attends to social structures and systems that support or perpetuate disadvantage and impact individuals’ participation in occupations of value and their sense of belonging within the community. 

The central focus of this research strand is on understanding and/or supporting individuals and groups to do the things they want and need to do in order to participate in their life roles and engage in their community.
