Associate Professor Consultant (Psychiatry)

Dr. Jane McGrath (MB MRCPsych PhD) is a clinician and researcher. Clinically, she works in the HSE Linn Dara Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services leading ADMiRE, a specialist service for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). 

Michael Connaughton

Psychology Graduate, PhD student

Michael Connaughton graduated with a BA in Psychology followed by an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience both from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Alannah Smyth

I graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Limerick in 2019. After this I completed an MSc in Neuropsychology in Maastricht University. 

Tom Farnan

I graduated with a BSc in Physics from the University of Kent and obtained an MSc in Medical Imaging from the University of Dundee, with a focus on neuroimaging.

Claire Foley

Dr Claire Foley graduated from medicine in University College Dublin in 2007 and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2012

Louise O Rourke

Dr Louise O'Rourke is a Senior Registrar in her final year of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Higher Training Scheme within the Irish College of Psychiatrists.

Jennifer Keane

Dr Jennifer Keane graduated from medical school in NUIG in 2013, and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2016. Jenny is working as a Senior Registrar in Child Psychiatry in ADMiRE ADHD specialist service in Linn Dara Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

Sinead Killeen

Dr Sinead Killeen graduated from medical school in UCD in 2016, and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2020.

Dr Karen Conlan graduated from medical school in Trinity College Dublin in 2010 and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2014.

Dr Maeve Haran is a Senior Registrar Registrar on the Higher Specialist Training Scheme in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Daniel McTiernan

Daniel McTiernan worked as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in the specialist Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) service – ADMiRE from its initial establishment in 2019 until January 2023. 

Laura Bond

Dr Niamh Crowley (MB BCH BAO) graduated from National University Ireland Galway in 2016 after completing her Undergraduate Degree in Medicine.

Ian Lihou

Hi, I'm Ian Lihou, I'm a Mental Health Nurse and I work with children and young people. After my family and I did the artwork for the Cork and Kerry booklets about ADHD, I was invited to contribute some pictures for the Trinity/Admire Website!

Cáit O’ Mahony

Cáit O’ Mahony is a final year medical student from University College Cork. She has a keen interest in psychiatry, with previous research undertaken in Cork University Hospital under Prof. Eugene Cassidy, assessing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on psychiatric admissions to the emergency department and consequent strains on the mental health service.
