Our Research

Our research is reflective of health questions at both population, community and individual levels. A strategic focus is on health equity and planetary health but our research encompasses a very broad range of clinical, primary care, population health, health services research, epidemiology, gene-environment interactions, data science and addiction sciences research. We focus on health system and societal challenges and challenges for individuals, particularly those living with multiple long-term conditions and other challenges such as mental health difficulties and addiction. Our researchers include one of Ireland’s leading research teams in planetary health.
