Biography
Wusqa is a psychology graduate with an MSc in Research. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Occupational Therapy in the School of Medicine, looking at sleep characteristics in children with cerebral palsy in Ireland. Wusqa is a recipient of the Trinity Research Doctorate Award and is part of the group-based research project AIMCP – Achieving Improved Outcomes for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
AIM CP Sleep looks at sleep characteristics of children with cerebral palsy. A national sleep survey is being conducted for all primary school aged children, as well as a review of sleep interventions used on children with neurodisabilities, with the aim of obtaining useful insights for the third phase of the study which will involve a more in-depth exploration of sleep characteristics in children with CP.
