Biography

Sinead is a Specialist Registrar in General Paediatrics with an interest in neurodisability and the future of children’s health in Ireland.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Medicine from the University of Galway in 2016 and later completed a Master’s degree in Adolescent Health. She is currently a PhD student in Trinity College Dublin.

Over the past seven years, Sinead has worked in paediatrics across Ireland and Australia, gaining an appreciation for the challenges and opportunities in children’s health.
Outside of medicine, Sinead is passionate about aerial arts, a practice that teaches her patience, perseverance, and the remarkable learning capacity of the body and mind.
This shapes her approach to paediatrics, grounding her work in a belief in every child’s potential.
