Biography

Matthew is currently completing his PhD in Statistics within the School of Computer Science and Statistics. Matthew holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin and is a recipient of the Trinity Research Doctorate Award. Matthew is part of the AIM CP project, which focuses on improving outcomes for children with cerebral palsy. His research looks at developing and applying statistical methods to identify unobserved groups of children with cerebral palsy based on patterns in the various data collected in the project. By uncovering these subgroups and analysing their characteristics in a data-driven and statistically principled manner, the implications can help to inform more targeted interventions and improve care for children with CP.
