Biography

Beth Corcoran is a researcher and programme manager in the Discipline of Paediatrics. She coordinates the Down syndrome Research Group (DISCO) that is led by Professor Eleanor Molloy. She is currently undertaking a PhD in Down syndrome related paediatric research. As mum to a teenager with Down syndrome, she brings her lived experience to the research group and to her PhD. Her research interests include supporting paediatric participatory research and health literacy in people with Down syndrome. She also has an interest in combining arts-based practice into her research.
