Trust and cancer screening: Effects of a screening controversy on women’s perceptions of cervical cancer screening

A new paper published by researchers from CERVIVA concludes that women’s perceptions of, and trust in, cervical screening have been adversely affected by the recent screening controversy. The findings can be used to inform the development of strategies to address women’s concerns and start to rebuild trust in screening.
