Welcome to the School of Medicine
The School of Medicine is Ireland’s leading medical school and ranks as one of the world’s top medical schools (QS World Ranking by Subject 2025 – 83rd for Medicine). The School of Medicine is the leading research school in Trinity, home to over 800 highly diverse researchers and spanning 21 medical and scientific disciplines. The School of Medicine is a multidisciplinary school comprising Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Human Health and Disease, and Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Over 90% of the academic staff are highly active in research. Fifty per cent of senior principal investigators are clinical academics combining their clinical commitments with their academic activities.

DRNI North-South Dementia Research Symposium
DRNI are hosting an inaugural in-person North-South Dementia Research Symposium in Dublin, under the theme Brain Health across the Island of Ireland. The event will focus on dementia research taking place in Ireland and Northern Ireland, with a particular emphasis on brain health and areas such as blood-based biomarkers and prevention.
