€332 per week, pro rata 0.6 FTE

Hours of Work: 

21 hours per week (.6 FTE)

The successful applicant will be expected to start on 4th June, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The purpose of the role is to carry out administrative tasks to support the various HR teams in the collection of data relating to their respectives processes.

Context:

The HR department and is responsible for providing HR and Payroll administrative services to the University Community of over 6,000 staff and visitors. This role will work across the various teams of HR staff that carry out all HR-related administrative processes. The role supports support the work required of the wider HR team for the university.

The Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic person who is willing to to join the HR team enabling the setup of a process improvement group to help drive wider process improvement inittiatives / projects across the Trinity community, impacting the end user experience experience for all staff. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of a process improvement Centre of Excellence for HR services at Trinity. As an intern, you will work closely all members of the HR team helping to promote the available services to the college community. The intern will be expected to assist in the development of HR workshops / roadshows with an opportunity to improve the HR brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and maintain a complete repository of all HR documentation, incorporating policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), Work instructions etc.
  • Complete a reconciliation of all documentation against HR process listing and come up with a mechanism to easily maintain across the various groups in HR
  • Review documentation availability across HR website & T-Net making recommendations to update sies with the most up to date information
  • Collaborate with relevant teams in HR to maintain and up date relevant documents as mentioned above
  • Ensure repository / documentation is maintained to be the one source of truth for HR
  • Identify appropriate communication channels, including university websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and other mediums to effectively reach target audiences in sharing of HR information
  • Support the wider HR team in the establishment of HR working sessions / wider HR roadshows.

The successful candidate will have some prior experience in these skills and an interest in developing them further:

  • Data Collection & reporting
  • Collaboration and relationship building
  • Supporting the running of workshops / group discussions in different contexts
  • Project planning
  • Multimedia content creation for a range of media including websites, social media, print
  • Research and analysis
