The Disability Service hosts a series of pre-orientation events each year for incoming undergraduate students and their parents/guardians. The events aim to provide information about university life, the supports and the services offered by the Disability Service and Trinity.

Prospective students are invited to attend one of our Prospective Student Talks which take place In July and August. These online sessions provide information about the Disability Service, what supports are available, and how to register with our service once you have received an offer to study at Trinity.

Students can also register for the Neurodiversity+ Pre-Orientation, a two-day long programme aimed to support you in your transition into college. This programme is designed with neurodivergent students in mind, though it may be beneficial for any disabled student who feels they would benefit from extra support with this transition. This programme is offered across two separate weeks – interested students can sign up for whichever dates suit them best.

All disabled students, or students interested in learning more about the Disability Service, are invited to attend our general orientation event – Getting to know the Disability Services. This is a two-hour long event in which you can learn about supports available from the Disability Service, and how to access these.

Parents of new students are also invited to attend our online Parent’s Information Session, in which they can also learn more about the Disability Service and the supports which students can avail of.

You can reserve your place for any of these events through our Eventbrite – we recommend you follow us on Eventbrite to receive updates and sign up for events which interest you. You can our page here: Trinity disAbility Hub Eventbrite
