Veronica O'Dea

Occupational Therapist

Veronica is an Occupational Therapist who joined the Trinity disAbility Service in July 2026. Following a B.Sc. in Music and English from Trinity, Veronica completed an M.Sc. in Occupational Therapy in the University of Brighton. She worked for an NHS CAMHS Eating Disorder Service before returning to Dublin in 2025 to work for AsIAm within their Community Support Hub. 

Within the Occupational Therapy role, Veronica meets with students to work on their occupational goals and enhance their engagement in student life, such as within academic but also social, leisure and self-care activities. Veronica also works as a disability officer, looking at the reasonable accommodations that can be provided to students. 

Veronica has a strong interest in neuro-affirmative practice, particularly within the area of mental health. She enjoys working in a person-centred way and utilising creative approaches within both the individual Occupational Therapy process, as well as within groups, to allow for expression and connection. 

Veronica is registered with CORU, the regulatory body for health and social care professionals in Ireland.
