Disability Service Graduate Internship 2023-24

Applications are now open for a Graduate Intern role in the Disability Service. This is a 12-month paid internship that will allow disabled students who are graduating in 2023 or recent disabled graduates to gain a range of development opportunities and valuable work experience that may be transferred to a variety of settings and their future careers.

The Graduate Intern will co-lead the Trinity Disability Community Engagement Project alongside a Senior Occupational Therapist. This exciting role includes project leadership, liaising with student partners such as the Trinity Ability co_op and promoting Cocreation in the Service. The disAbility Hub in Printing House Square is where the intern will work from and it is a dynamic and innovative disabled space, staff will work in co-production and co-creation with disabled students and the disabled community. This is an exciting opportunity for a future disabled leader who can change Trinity and the Disability Service.

The Disability Service will host an Internship Information Session on Monday March 13th at 1pm in An Mheitheal, Printing House Square. The role will be discussed in more detail in this session and previous interns will share their experience working with the service.

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€28,923 - €46,404 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
