How do I view my LENS document and Disability documents?

On the completion of a Learning Educational Needs Summary (LENS) report by the Disability Service staff, the report will be shared via their student my.tcd.ie portal. This report advises the student of recommended supports on completion of the application for the reasonable accommodation process:

How do I view my LENS report?

1. Login into the my.tcd.ie portal
   
2. Choose the My Disability Service option from the top navigation menu:
   
3. To view your LENS document click on the view my Learning Educational needs Support document (LENS)
4. The second link will bring you to a list of evidence documents you uploaded when completing your application for a reasonable accommodation or any document uploaded by your Disability officer for your reference
   
5. When you have clicked on the view my Learning education needs support document you will be able to view your LENS document
   

Next Steps

1. Login into the my.tcd.ie portal
   
2. An in-tray message is viewable and sent from the Disability officer within the Disability Service. If not viewable click on all in-tray messages.
   
3. In-tray message displays asking you to approve your LENS report click action once you have read the text.
   
4. Text is presented advising the student to read items sent by their Disability officer when releasing the LENS and then to click the action option.
   
5. The LENS report is viewable - to approve this report click continue at the bottom of the report

6. To approve the LENS report click the approve/confirm button
   

How do I download and share a copy of my LENS report?

1. Login into the my.tcd.ie portal
   
2. Choose the My Disability Service option from the top navigation menu:
   
3. To view your LENS document click on the view my Learning Educational needs Support document (LENS)
4. The second link will bring you to a list of evidence documents you uploaded when completing your application for reasonable accommodation or any document uploaded by your Disability officer for your reference
   
5. When you have clicked on the view my Learning education needs support document you will be able to view your LENS document with links to view your document as a PDF or to e-mail a copy of your report to your TCD inbox
   
6. By clicking either option you will get access to a PDF version of your report to save locally to allow you to print the document if required
   

How do I view and download the documents I uploaded during my application to the Disability Service?

1. Login into the my.tcd.ie portal
   
2. Choose the My Disability Service option from the top navigation menu:
   
3. Click on the link named my Disability Uploaded document which will bring you to a list of evidence documents you uploaded when completing your application for a reasonable accommodation or any document uploaded by your Disability officer for your reference
   
4. When you have clicked on the link a list of all your evidence fields and any other Disability-related documents will be available for you to view and download as required
