Building description
Access to the Chief Steward's House is via House 10 via accessibility ramp. The building was designed originally as a residence for the Colleges' Chief Steward circa mid-1880s, built in the north-west corner of the Trinity College grounds, of 2 storey height construction and served by one internal staircase accessing upper rooms, there are no lift facilities. During the building's life it has remained as originally constructed, but conversion during the mid 1980's to multi-use offices for 'Fellows of the College' used in academic research programmes. (not wheelchair accessible) Currently the building accommodates within 7 rooms a total of 8 desk spaces at ground floor and 7 desk spaces to the 1st floor level.
