This is a reading list to bring together and celebrate the voices from the disabled community. The Library welcomes you to explore the catalogue further, as they have everything from large printed textbooks, audiobooks, and braille, encompassing every subject from science, law, religion, history, business, fiction, and non-fiction. The disAbility Service and the Library work closely to create an accessible, transformational, educational environment in an interdependent University community and provide a platform for innovation and inclusion.

Launch Celebration: Reading & Reflection
In early 2026 we will be celebrating the launch of the Reading List with a reading and reflection event, where we will be inviting students to select a book, poem, or short piece by a disabled writer and read a brief excerpt that resonates with them. Following each reading, students will reflect on why they chose their piece, how it connects to their lived experience or perspective, then the conversation will be opened up to attendees.
