Biography: 

Eithne is an Occupational Therapist who joined the Trinity Disability Service in September 2020. She graduated with a B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy from York St. John University in the U.K. in 2017 and has since gained experience across a range of healthcare settings, including complex inpatient eating disorders (mental health) and disability support in Higher Education.

Since joining Trinity, and alongside 1-1 student intervention, Eithne has focused her project work on the student's transition from studies to employment. She has developed and successfully delivered the Inclusive Internship Programme alongside other employment initiatives, supporting students’ pathways to work for over five years. She has further expanded her skillset and research in the area of disability and employment through her ongoing MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology/Behaviour. Eithne has a particular passion, and she is committed to embedding inclusive practice across Trinity College in the future.

Eithne brings her specialist knowledge and practical experience into her daily work, supporting students with a wide variety of occupational needs. She is a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists in Ireland (AOTI) and is registered with CORU, the regulatory body for health and social care professionals.
