Christopher Cunningham

Occupational Therapist

Chris is an Occupational Therapist in the Disability Service, working with students to develop the skills and strategies they need to thrive at college. He offers one-to-one support in areas such as building daily routines, managing academic workloads, developing study habits, and building confidence in social settings. His approach is practical, collaborative, and tailored to each student’s goals. In his current role, Chris also works at the Marino Institute of Education, providing the same specialist support to students registered with the Disability Service there.

Before joining Trinity in July 2023, Chris spent much of his career in paediatric services, supporting disabled children and young people from 18 months to 18 years old. He has first-hand experience of working with autistic students, students with learning disabilities, and those with social, emotional, or mental health challenges.

Chris is passionate about ensuring every student has the opportunity to participate fully in college life. He values working alongside students and colleagues to remove barriers, build independence, and make the most of each student’s time at Trinity.
