Congratulations to Frances Quigley, PhD student in TCD’s Ultramicroscopy Group led by Prof. Lewys Jones, who was awarded the 2023 IOP Ireland's Rosse Medal for excellent physics communication of her research project titled:
The Retrofittable Photoelectron Source: Increasing the Functionality of Electron Microscopes
at the IOP’s recent 2023 Spring Meeting in Armagh last Saturday. Frances will now be invited to represent the School and the island of Ireland at the 3 Minute Wonder final in London in 2024.
