Research Ireland Strategic Partnership Programme – Opening November 2026
Research Ireland’s Strategic Partnership Programme reopens in November. This programme funds large, focused research programmes that is co-designed and co-funded with a partner(s).
- The call is open to all disciplines, and multidisciplinary proposals are encouraged.
- Partners put in matching funding (50:50).
- Partners can be companies, charities, philanthropic organisations etc, and, new this round, government departments and state bodies.
- Research Ireland expects to fund between €1M and €7M per project, for up to five years.
- The call is rolling, with three collection dates a year, and a short Expression of Interest first.
