We offer targeted training to build a strong, informed and confident funding culture within the School of Physics.
- Themed sessions on major schemes (e.g. Research Ireland, EPSRC, ERC, EIC and EU framework calls), including scheme expectations and common pitfalls.
- Practical workshops on writing strong sections (objectives, impact, methodology, Gantt charts and budgets).
- Briefings on pre‑award and post‑award processes, compliance, research integrity and open science.
- Proposal “sandpits” and peer‑review sessions for early‑career researchers and new PIs.
- Induction‑style overviews for new staff and postdocs on Trinity’s research support ecosystem.
Most events are advertised via School mailing lists and web pages, with materials made available afterwards for those who cannot attend in person.
