Using the "Reset This PC" option in Windows

If your Windows PC is not operating correctly, the IT Service Desk may recommend you use a built-in feature called 'Reset this PC' to restore the Windows system files.

Please only follow the instructions below if you have been asked to do so after carrying out troubleshooting with the IT Service Desk.

This option is faster than carrying out a complete reinstallation of Windows, and allows you retain your data files in place. However you will need to reinstall all apps after the reset is complete.
