How to share your Panopto-created videos and content

You have a few different options in sharing your videos once you are happy to do so.

Sharing Lecture Recordings within a module in Blackboard (mymodule.tcd.ie)

Module: Enrolled Students

For lecturers who have recorded lecture recordings within Blackboard under a module, the students who are enrolled in that module will by default have access to those lecture recordings; the students will see those recordings once they click on their module.

Module: Other Users

For lecturers who have recorded lecture recordings within Blackboard under a module but also want to share out to other users outside of the students enrolled in the module.

  1. Click on the module or folder where you have your recording
  2. Highlight the lecture you would like to share out and click on the Share button
  3. Click on the Invite People and type in the person’s email address you’d like to invite to view the lecture recording



  4. The targeted person will receive an email invitation to view the lecture recording.

Sharing Lecture Recordings via the Trinity Cloud Panopto Portal (http://tcd.cloud.panopto.eu)

  1. Log into the TCD Cloud Panopto EU Portal with your Trinity credentials by signing into Edugate SSO at http://tcd.cloud.panopto.eu
  2. Locate your folder where you have your lecture recordings stored



  3. Highlight the lecture you would like to share out and click on the Share button
  4. Click on the Invite People and type in the person’s email address you’d like to invite to view the lecture recording
  5. The targeted person will receive an email invitation to view the lecture recording.
