This service will provide encryption for all Trinity owned laptops and desktops (Windows and Mac) configured for use on the Trinity data network. This will help users secure Trinity work-related data which is confidential or highly sensitive.
Encryption of both will be centrally managed by IT Services.
All staff and postgraduate computers that are registered to connect to the Trinity College data network, are automatically encrypted as part of the network onboarding process.

Supported Operating Systems
The operating system must be running McAfee security software.
- Windows 11
- Windows 10
- macOS Big Sur (11.x) or later
Backing up your data
We recommend that you back up your data before the encryption of your device.
