The IT Service Desk is the first point of contact with IT Services, for Staff and Students requiring IT assistance.

The Service Desk Team provides IT support for the University's IT systems and software, including Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, Email and authentication services. 

All technical or support queries should be addressed to the IT Service Desk only.

Opening Hours

  • Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Online and email queries can be submitted at any time but will only be replied to within normal working hours.

Email the Service Desk

You can use the portal to raise enquiries and check the status of current enquires with the IT Service Desk.

  • Go to
  • Login with your Trinity username and password
  • Select 'Log an enquiry'
  • Choose 'IT Services Issue' from the category menu
  • Enter the 'Title and Description' of your enquiry in the 'Enquiry Details' window
  • Click the 'Log Now' button

We operate a walk-in service during the following hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9.00am to 1.00pm 
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 2.00pm to 5.00pm
