Are you Cyber Security ready? Do you know what to do if a cyber-attack strikes? Would you know who to contact and what steps to take to protect your Trinity teaching, research or administrative data or IT equipment? 

To mark International Data Protection Day 2024, we are hosting Cyber Security and Data Protection online training for Trinity staff in collaboration with the Data Protection Office. Join the Trinity Cyber Security Manager Sara McAneney, Cyber Security Specialist Amir Bijedic and the Data Protection Officer John Eustace, who will take you through what to do in the event of a cyber-attack.  

The session will cover the types of cyber-attacks that staff may experience in Trinity, from phishing and viruses to ransomware. It will include helpful information on the steps staff should take to protect themselves from attacks and to successfully recover. Sara, Amir, and John will provide all the latest updates in the areas of cyber security, data protection, and GDPR.

January 2024 cyber security awareness training on KnowBe4

The January training material in our cyber security awareness training portal, KnowBe4, is out now! This month we are looking into the concepts of social engineering and becoming part of the human firewall. The training covers the most common social engineering attacks and how to recognise threats and red flags. Log into Knowbe4 to complete the training

The KnowBe4 training is available to Trinity staff and Postgraduate students.
