As part of the Digital Trinity Infrastructure (DTI) Programme, please see the schedule below for upcoming critical IT infrastructure replacement works on the University's Distribution Zones.

These works will be delivered by IT Services between 17 August and 11 September 2026.

Please note that the dates below are provisional and may be subject to change. Where opportunities arise to accelerate delivery, IT Services will update this Active Alerts page accordingly.

Upgrade Timelines

  • On each scheduled upgrade day, any service outage will occur between 08:00 and 09:00, outside core business hours.
  • Areas identified within each location will experience a brief network interruption of approximately one minute during this period.
  • The period from 09:00 to 10:00 will be used for post-upgrade monitoring.
  • While no further service interruptions are anticipated during the monitoring period, IT Services will remain on standby to respond to any issues that may arise.
  • Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to university activities throughout the upgrade period.
