Connecting to the Staff Wi-Fi network
Please note, the Staff Wi-Fi network has moved from the network name "TCDwireless" to "TCDwifi".
The "TCDwireless" network is no longer being broadcast.
If your Staff device was previously connected to "TCDwireless", there is no need to re-register the device for connecting to "TCDwifi". Simply follow the steps below.
Steps to connect to "TCDwifi"
Connecting on a computer
- Ensure that the rotating or private MAC address is off:
- On Windows, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Ensure “Random hardware addresses” is turned off.
- On macOS, click on the three dots next to TCDwifi. After clicking the three dots, if you are presented with a dropdown list of options, choose “Network Settings”. In the “Private Wi-Fi address” dialog box, select "Off" from the dropdown, then click "OK". Click “Turn Off” followed by "OK" when prompted.
- Select "TCDwifi" from your available Wi-Fi networks.
- Connect using your Trinity IT username and password.
- You should then be connected to "TCDwifi"
- Once connected to "TCDwifi", go back to your list of available Wi-Fi networks. If "TCDwireless" is still listed, right-click on it and select "Forget".
