This service allows visiting, short-term, authorised Trinity guests to connect their personal computer or mobile to the internet via the Trinity Wi-Fi network.
This guest service is not available for connection to the Trinity 'wired' network.
Who can use this Service?
This service is for official guests of Trinity who are not entitled to standard computer accounts but who have a requirement for internet access to support their Trinity-related work during their stay.
The service is available to Trinity guests for a duration of up to 28 consecutive days maximum.
Academics visiting Trinity for extended periods may be entitled to standard computer accounts - such guests should consult with their departmental contact.
This service is not intended for use by registered Trinity staff and students; such users should make use of the staff Wi-Fi service or student Wi-Fi service as appropriate.
Getting started
To connect to this service, guests need to be supplied with a Guest Wi-Fi "username and password".
This "username and password" can only be requested, from IT Services, by an "authorised party" in your department.
For details about who the "authorising party" is in your department, please contact your departmental administrator or the IT Service Desk.
Once you have been forwarded on a "username and password" by the departmental "authorising party", you will be able to complete the connection instructions to connect your device to the service.
