Library Virtual Tours and 3D Floorplans
360 Virtual Tours
To help with wayfinding and navigation within Library spaces, and to provide a way for readers to familiarise themselves with the layout of reading rooms before they arrive on site, virtual tours have been developed for the Library Complex, the Hamilton Library and the John Stearne Medical Library. The virtual tours provide a very intuitive visual impression of the reading rooms with useful information about reading room spaces, services and collections. They also allow readers to explore various routes in and around Library buildings, with a special emphasis on accessible options. Please try them out and let us know what you think!
3D Maps
We have developed 3D maps of the Boland, Lecky, Ussher, Hamilton and John Stearne Medical libraries. They show detailed floor plans and you can browse each library map by collection, services, facilities and sensory space. A red outline and black arrow will appear on the map highlighting the selected menu category.
To see the Boland, Lecky and Ussher maps, choose Library Complex below. It will bring you to the Boland map. Select 'Go to another library building' and you can then find the Lecky and Ussher maps.
