When signing into your account using the Authenticator app for completing TSSI, you may now be prompted to enter a two-digit number into the app displayed on your sign-in screen before approving the sign-in request. 

This change adds an additional layer of security to your account, ensuring no one can use your account without your knowledge. 

TSSI is required for all staff and students who wish to access services such as Microsoft 365, MyZone, and the VPN (staff only) when not on the campus network. 

You will receive a TSSI prompt when logging on to the following services from off campus: 

  • Microsoft 365 
  • VPN (staff only) 
  • Core Portal
  • Trinity Web Systems
  • MyZone
  • SITS my.tcd.ie (staff only)
  • Blackboard VLE
  • Panopto
