Biography

I studied an undergraduate degree in business management at Adama Science and Technology University in Ethiopia and my first master’s degree in public policy (MPP) at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Japan. I have also earned a master of science (MSc) in business administration with an international management and strategy specialization from the University of Agder, Norway.

Before embarking on my doctoral studies, I have worked for ten years as a lecturer at the School of Management, Mekelle University, Ethiopia. Over this period of professional service, I taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervised senior essays and master theses, and participated in research and community service projects.

I have published a paper in the Journal of Africa Business and also contributed to a conference proceeding, both of which are available at the link below.

My doctoral research project focuses on firm internationalization behaviors in sub-Saharan Africa.
