Trinity’s General Management Programme is designed for current and future managers navigating the transition into broader leadership roles.

Delivered over four in-person days, the programme helps you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen your communication and performance management skills and learn to handle challenges like conflict and difficult conversations. Programme Curriculum Overview

This intensive four-day programme is structured to deliver a transformative leadership journey through immersive, experiential learning. Each day is designed to build on the last, equipping participants with the essential capabilities to lead in dynamic, complex environments.

  • Day 1: Intentional Foundations
    Focuses on self-awareness, community building, and establishing a foundation for leadership development.

  • Day 2: Team Dynamics and Collaboration
    Emphasises leading teams, understanding team dynamics, and collaborative work through case studies and simulations.

  • Day 3: Effective Communication and Influence
    Centres on developing executive presence, delivering effective feedback, and persuading “up” and “across” the business.

  • Day 4: Adaptive Leadership and Experimentation
    Concentrates on diagnosing adaptive challenges, experimenting with new approaches, and planning for future growth.

Amanda Shantz  Academic Director

Professor Shantz is an award-winning educator and internationally recognised expert in leadership and human resource management. Her research explores how leaders drive engagement, performance, and culture, with recent work focusing on organisational change, employee wellbeing, and strategic influence across functions.

Barry Denham  Programme Manager

Barry Denham is an award-winning consultant with over 10 years of experience in organisational leadership and change management. He holds various coaching certifications and advanced degrees, which inform his practical, research-driven approach to teaching leadership development.
