MSc in Marketing Programme Overview

Step into the dynamic world of modern marketing with our MSc in Marketing. Over 12 intensive months, students develop the strategic judgement, creative confidence and analytical skills to shape marketing decisions and lead with impact. They explore brand management, consumer behaviour, marketing management, marketing and society, and strategic storytelling, applying their learning to real challenges faced by organisations.

This is an applied, industry-focused programme. Students collaborate on client projects, pitch ideas to industry practitioners, visit companies and develop a portfolio of work to share with potential employers. Faculty combine research expertise with extensive industry experience, ensuring that learning is current, evidence-based and relevant to professional practice.

Graduates are prepared to analyse markets, build brands, use data to support decisions and communicate ideas persuasively. They also develop a clear understanding of marketing’s wider impact on business and society, preparing them to make responsible and meaningful contributions throughout their careers.

What Sets This Programme Apart

Research-led thinking

Rigorous, evidence-based thinking runs throughout the programme. Students learn to ask insightful questions, evaluate the evidence behind a claim and design robust research, culminating in a substantial dissertation or company project.

Real industry engagement

Live briefs, client projects, company visits and practitioner-led classes connect academic learning with professional practice. Students graduate with practical experience and a portfolio of work, as well as a recognised postgraduate qualification.

Creativity at the core

Effective strategy depends on the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively. Through dedicated teaching in storytelling and communication, delivered by experienced industry practitioners, students learn to turn analysis into compelling narratives that engage audiences and influence decisions.

Technology and AI woven throughout

AI and digital tools are integrated into modules where they are transforming marketing practice, from analytics and content creation to campaign planning. Students explore how to use these technologies effectively while critically considering the ethical and societal questions they raise.

Transformational learning

Small-group teaching, active participation and an international classroom create a highly collaborative learning environment. Students gain fresh perspectives from classmates with different cultural, academic and professional backgrounds while building relationships that extend beyond the programme.
