Catherine Coughlan

Biography

Catherine Coughlan is an Associate Director with Trinity Development & Alumni, where she works closely with the Provost’s Office to advance strategic philanthropic initiatives across Trinity College Dublin. One of her main areas of focus is supporting Trinity Access Programmes, including the Pathways to Business Programme, helping to connect philanthropic investment with opportunities that broaden access to higher education and foster student success.

With significant experience in fundraising, philanthropy and partnership development, Catherine works with donors, alumni, foundations and corporate partners to build meaningful relationships that support Trinity’s mission and long-term impact. Prior to joining Trinity in 2019, Catherine held senior development and sponsorship roles at the National Concert Hall and the National Gallery of Ireland. She holds a BA and MA from University College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma from Ulster University.
