Alan Foy

Biography

Alan Foy is Group CEO of StarBlue, Blueface and Star2Star Communications - a portfolio of global cloud communications companies that service mid market enterprises and global service providers.  Alan is also Chairman of VentureWave Capital, a differentiated private equity company.  Alan previously worked with AOL, Coyle Hamilton (now Willis) and NCB Group which was acquired by Investec. 

He is a graduate of Trinity Business School, a former Business Student of the Year and Gold Medallist.  Alan was President of the Trinity Business Alumni 2012-2013.  He was also an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in 2017 in the International Category. He is currently Chairman of the Board of The Ireland Funds, a philanthropic organisation that supports charities in Ireland. Alan is also a member ot the Provost's Council of Trinity College.
