Alan Dargan

Biography

Alan Dargan founded the London-based private equity firm Lonsdale Capital Partners in 2009. Lonsdale has a portfolio of small and medium sized businesses in the UK and Europe. He is also Chairman of Lansdowne Capital, an advisory firm he founded in 1997.

Alan has worked in private equity and investment banking for over 30 years, as managing director at both UBS and Credit Suisse in New York and London. He graduated from Trinity College with a degree in Business and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Trinity’s Student Managed Fund and was President of Trinity Rugby in 2014-2015.
