Evidence-Based Management in Practice

How do you make better decisions in a real organisation, with deadlines, politics, and imperfect data? And how do we prepare the next generation of managers to do this better? We are bringing together the practitioners interested in making better decisions at work and the educators who teach it to explore challenges and tips for practicing evidence-based decision-making at work. The morning is a hands-on workshop on making evidence-based decisions in real organisations, with a case study and practitioners sharing what worked for them. Over lunch, both communities meet and swap ideas. In the afternoon, educators stay on for a dedicated session on teaching evidence-based decision-making and building it into their programmes.

The event is co-organised by the Center for Evidence-Based Management (CEBMa), Trinity College Dublin, and Maynooth University.
