2025 marks a monumental milestone for Trinity Business School as we celebrate our 100th anniversary. On September 24th, we look forward to an insightful look at the history of the Irish economy and how TBS has evolved alongside it.

The event will begin with a presentation by Frank Barry, Professor of International Business & Economic Development, TBS. Frank's current research interests are in the fields of foreign direct investment and economic and business history. His book 'Industry & policy in Independent Ireland, 1922-1972' was published in 2023.

This will be followed by a presentation by Dr Emmet Oliver, PhD, BA, MA, Dip Corp Gov.  Business Historian, TBS lecturer and economics writer. TBS commissioned Dr Oliver to investigate the historical evolution of Trinity Business School and its contribution towards the development of the Irish economy and business, post-independence. We look forward to the presentation of his findings at this special event.
