It’s Health and Sport Week from Thursday 14th March to Thursday 21st March making this our first Green Week/Health & Sport Week crossover. We continue the Green Week theme of 'Healthy Planet, Healthy People'.

Launch: Trinity on the Move will be our launch at 9am on Thursday 14th March. Have you signed up yet? It is a great opportunity for us to come together as a community, get moving and raise money for the student hardship fund. There are a number of ways you can join in, individually or as part of a team.

Keynote: Our keynote speaker Grant Ennis, author of the acclaimed book Dark PR: How corporate disinformation harms people and the planet, will deliver a public lecture on the role of corporations in framing the global problems of obesity, climate change and automobility. His lecture will be followed by a panel discussion from civil society and public health leaders and policy makers and a networking opportunity.

What’s on throughout the week:  The programme for the week contains a number of activities including a workshop on managing social pressures in groups,  a student-led sustainable PPE panel, free exercise classes, free healthy lunches, vaccines catch ups, a climate anxiety Q&A, a sea swim, dance fusion, Trinity’s first outdoor cinema (will it work?), sexual health promotion, an e-cigarettes forum and more.

We look forward to seeing you during the week.
