Dublin University Ladies Boat Club was established in 1976 with only ten members. They competed on a national circuit, winning their first national title in 1979 in the Women's Coxless Fours.

Since then the club has gone from strength to strength winning titles at home and abroad. Many athletes from the club have gone on to represent Ireland at major regattas including - World Championships, World Cups and the U23 World Championships.

Recent wins include:

1st place in Tier 2 Academic 8+ in London Metropolitan Regatta 2018 and 2019

1st place in the Women's Club 8+ and Women's Intermediate 8+ at the University Championship 2019

1st place in the Corcoran Cup in 2018 and 2019

1st place for the Novice 8+ at the National Championships in 2019
