After months of preparation, both clubs will contest a wide range of events as they look to finish the season on a high and challenge for national honours.

DUBC heads into the championships with entries across the Senior 8+, Intermediate Pair, Intermediate Single Scull, Club 8+, Club 4+ and Club Single Scull events.

The squad has focused its preparations through consistent training at Blessington and Islandbridge, opting to prioritise training over racing at Cork Regatta. Recent performances have demonstrated encouraging progress, with the Senior Men’s Eight narrowly missing out on a place in the final at Trinity Regatta before the club secured victory in the Intermediate 4+ at Commercial Regatta.

With momentum building at the right time, DUBC will be aiming to turn months of hard work into strong performances across the three day championships.

DULBC also arrives in Cork with an exciting squad and several crews expected to be among the leading contenders.

The Senior Four of Addy Telzrow, María Mezquita García Poggio, Imogen Cooney and Jen Forde will be looking to bounce back after narrowly missing out at Cork Regatta. The crew enjoyed an outstanding 2025 season, claiming the Senior 4+ title at Cork Regatta before winning both the Intermediate 4+ and Senior 4 titles at the National Championships.

Attention will also be on the Senior Pair of Addy Telzrow and María Mezquita García Poggio, who head into Saturday’s racing among the favourites. The duo produced a dominant performance to win at Cork Regatta and will be hoping to build on an impressive run of form that included winning the Intermediate Pair title at last year’s National Championships and pre qualifying for Henley Royal Regatta.

Sunday’s Intermediate Four is another event where Trinity will be looking to challenge. The crew of Ginevra Guglielmi, Jen Forde, Imogen Cooney and Izzy Howley arrives in excellent form after winning both the Intermediate and Division One categories, as well as the time trial, at Cork Regatta.

Alongside these crews, DULBC will field entries across a range of events throughout the weekend as the club looks to continue another successful season.

With both Trinity clubs bringing strong squads to Cork, the Irish Rowing National Championships promise to provide an exciting conclusion to the domestic rowing season, with national titles and podium finishes firmly in their sights.

Supporters can follow all the action throughout the weekend via the live broadcast from the National Rowing Centre, featuring race commentary, drone coverage and on the water footage from across the championships.
