A tailored acting programme for talented young actors aged 15-17. Junior Academy is ideal for any teenager with a passion for all things theatre and interested in developing this passion into further training or a career.

The course curriculum includes training in voice, movement, dialect, acting, ensemble work, Stanislavski’s system, and students will take part in a live performance for family and friends at the end of the course. It is taught by leading professionals, many of whom also teach on our Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre, and the Bachelor in Acting undergraduate courses here at The Lir Academy.

A limited number of places are available on this programme to ensure that each student receives the maximum individual attention. 

Date, Time and Place

The course runs every Saturday from September through March at The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art, Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus, Pearse Street at Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2.
