This course is offered subject to minimum registration numbers.
Croatia is a county with a rich cultural heritage, intriguing political history and world-famous natural beauty. Croatian is a South Slavic language with a mixed origin, used primarily in Croatia and by the global Croatian diaspora. It is one of the official EU languages since 2013.
The Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies within the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies will run language and culture courses in Croatian at the Beginners, Lower Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced levels.
Date, Time, and Place
Each course runs for 22 weeks (two-hour classes once a week) spread over two terms – Michaelmas term (starting September) and Hillary term (starting January). All classes take place in-person on Trinity's central campus.
- Beginners: Tuesdays 7pm-9pm.
- Lower Intermediate: Wednesdays 7pm-9pm.
- Intermediate/Advanced: Thursdays 7pm-9pm.

Course Fees
€660 full rate. Payment by instalments of €350 per term is also possible.
This fee is strictly non-refundable once the course has commenced.
Apply
Intakes of new students will not be available from January during the Hillary term unless applicants have the necessary language levels to join a continuing group.
