Join us for an immersive week, where I A Clown will take you on a journey to uncover the clown inside you.

The course will encourage you to explore your full and wonderful self, which will inform the basis of your individual clown state. Through this process, you will gain an understanding of what it is to be ‘authentically present’ and how to bring that into your performance.

This course is led by Raymond Keane. Through the Mask of Four Temperaments, we will explore the shape and rhythm of the human; aiming to increase our flexibility and range of expression. Through The Mask of Red Nose, we explore each participant’s truest performance in all their brilliance, beauty, joy, love, vulnerability, gullibility and failure.

Raymond is a founding member of the multi-award-winning Barabbas Theatre Company and has over 40 years of experience as a theatre-maker, director, clown, actor and teacher.

Date, Time and Place

This course runs during the summers for one week at The Lir, National Academy of Dramatic Art, Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus, Pearse Street at Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2.
