The Launch of Audrey McNamara’s Bernard Shaw: Reimagining Women and Ireland (Palgrave Macmillan 2023) will take place on Thursday 22nd February, 6-8pm in the Long Room Hub (Neil Hoey/Idea Space), Trinity College Dublin.

This study advances an ambitious and timely thesis: namely, that Shaw’s representation of and advocacy for women’s rights (and importantly marriage rights) parallels and informs his views of the coterminous Irish nationalist project.

Dr Audrey McNamara works in the School of Education, Trinity College, contributing to the Drama and Theatre in Education masters programme, and leading the academic writing modules across the School. The launch will take place on February 22nd 2024 in the Long Room Hub, Neil Hoey/Idea Space, Trinity College Dublin at 6 pm.
