Jean RealeJean Reale PhD Candidate in the School of Education has had her Universal Design for Learning (UDL) research project with Kerry ETB shortlisted for the ETB Excellence Award 2023 under the category Excellence in Education.

The ETB award ceremony will take place on Thursday the 2nd of March in Croke Park as part of the #ETBDay celebrations.

Project Description: This research project is a first of its kind in Ireland to bring a cross-sectoral approach to the design and development of a whole of life UDL implementation process. The project supports twenty-eight dedicated members of Kerry ETBs teaching staff and their education technology specialist to create a community of practice that explores technology enhanced teaching and learning UDL implementation innovations.
