Our MSc in Business Analytics and AI for Management offers a unique combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and advanced problem-solving methods. The programme is designed for students who want to strengthen their quantitative thinking while applying analytics to real organisational challenges. You will learn to work with large and complex datasets and use them to guide strategic decisions. Along the way, you will build fluency in core programming languages such as R, SQL, and Python, and develop hands-on experience with advanced methods including Machine Learning and RAG. By the end of the programme, you will be prepared to lead with insight in a world shaped by data.

Course Content & Structure
This MSc is 90 ECTS credits and is delivered over one academic year in person at Trinity Business School.
The taught component of the programme consists of eight modules totalling 60 credits. Students also complete an independent research project or group consultancy project, which accounts for a further 30 credits. Taught modules run across two terms: Michaelmas (September–December) and Hilary (January–April). The final Trinity term (April–August) is dedicated to your dissertation or research project.

Admission Requirements
Students typically have a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 honours degree or international equivalent) in quantitative subjects such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business, or have significant professional experience in similar fields. They are detail-oriented, motivated to use data to uncover insights, and keen to understand how AI models can address complex business and strategic challenges. Applicants are not required to have prior coding or programming experience.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Admission to the programme is competitive and we recommend an early application as spaces often fill up quickly.
English Language Requirements
All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.
