When can I start this Micro-credential?  

There is one intake per year in September, with potential to expand to additional intakes based on demand.   

What do I need to be accepted onto this Micro-credential? 

•    A Level 8 degree or equivalent professional qualification.
•    A minimum of 3 years’ professional or managerial experience in a healthcare or related setting.
•    Up to date CV 
•    Language requirements for students whose first language is not English are IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL IBT 90 for non-native English speakers.  

What will I learn?

•    Core concepts of Lean operations and their role in improving healthcare systems.
•    How to analyse process efficiency, patient flow, quality, and capacity management.
•    Strategies to engage healthcare teams in sustainable improvement initiatives.

What will I do? 

•    Apply Lean tools to real-world problems in your healthcare organisation.
•    Evaluate case studies and develop an implementation plan tailored to your workplace.
•    Complete a final project focused on enhancing patient-centred operational performance

How will this Micro-credential be delivered? 

Delivered online across 6 sessions of 2.5 hours. Also, we would like to have the flexibility to deliver in-person, if required. 

How is this Micro-credential assessed? 

Final written assignment applying Lean methodology in a healthcare context.

Active participation in lecturer-student feedback process. Students will be expected to develop learning logs on the lectures and their understanding of the material in their own environments.

Admission Requirements

All applicants are required to have a minimum of 3 years professional or managerial work experience (this is in-line with entry criteria for other TBS post-experience postgraduate programmes such as the MBA and Executive MBA programmes).

Up to date CV required which outlines your previous education, employment history and your places of residence, especially in the past five years.

English Language Requirements

All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.
